Celebrate 15 years with the Pilgrim Festival Chorus as they ring in the holiday season with ‘A Northern American Christmas!’

From spiritual to gospel songs, celebrate the season as Pilgrim Festival Chorus will raise their voices into glorious song with ‘A Northern American Christmas!’ Director William B. Richter, accompanied by Assistant Director Elizabeth Chapman Reilly on pipe organ, leads the chorus in its monumental 15th season with an inspired mix composed by 15 American and Canadian composers!

Audiences will enjoy live choral arrangements such as ‘O Magnum Mysterium’ by modern composer Morten Lauridsen, Canada’s iconic Christmas carol, ‘The Huron Carol’ by Canadian composer Eleanor Daley, and Glenn Rudolph’s ‘The Dream Isaiah Saw,’ a glimpse of a future peaceful world, composed during the awful events of 9/11/01.

“We’ll approach seasonal music in many ways,” says Richter, “The universal spirit of Christmas transcends the separation of centuries, country borders, and musical styles. We’ll blend our communities of audience and choral singers together, creating joy that brings the spirit, beauty, and love to the Christmas season.”

Performances will take place at The Church of the Pilgrimage, 8 Town Square in Plymouth, Massachusetts on Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7. Call Gail for tickets at 781-826-8416 or online at pilgrimfestivalchorus.org. Complimentary beverages will be served immediately after the performance.
