The Pilgrim Festival Chorus (PFC) is a volunteer, not for profit singing group dedicated to performing choral music in public and private concerts, providing music education to its members and audiences, and encouraging and promoting the performance of high quality
The PFC is funded in part by grants from local agencies as well as many of the region’s cultural councils and the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
We are pleased to offer two scholarships in the amount of $1000.00 each to two graduating seniors who will be pursuing music studies at the college level, including music education, performance, composition, musical theater and/or music therapy. This opportunity is being offered in the
South Shore communities of Carver, Cohasset, Duxbury, Halifax, Hanover, Hanson, Kingston, Marshfield, Middleboro, Norwell, Pembroke, Plymouth, Plympton, Scituate and Whitman. The 2017 winner of the PFC Scholarship will be announced at the school’s award ceremony and the award will be disbursed following documentation of successful completion of the first semester in the student’s freshman year.
There are many talented young individuals on the South Shore and we look forward to reading their applications and learning why they are inspired to major in music.
